Four residential days to follow questions, explore mathematical ideas, and think alongside people who are equally curious.
VGS is not a lecture series or another competition. It is a small residential space to explore beautiful ideas, build confidence in mathematical thinking, and meet peers who are equally curious.
Stay with unfamiliar questions long enough for new patterns, connections, and possibilities to appear.

Essential information about applying for and attending VGS 2026.
Vedant Ganita Samanvaya is a national residential mathematics camp that brings together students from across India to explore mathematics beyond the classroom. The camp emphasizes collaborative problem solving, mathematical exposition, research-inspired thinking, and learning from distinguished speakers rather than traditional exam-oriented training.
The camp is primarily intended for first and second-year undergraduate students, while exceptional high-school applicants may also be considered.
Selection begins with a qualitative application and short CV. 100 students are then shortlisted for a mathematical exposition or exploration, from which 30 participants are selected for the final camp. A short interview may be used only where additional evaluation is helpful. There is no formal entrance examination.
The camp is planned for December 2026. The venue is currently being finalised and will be announced once confirmed.
